Overview

What is Destini?

Destini (founded 2010, now a SPINS subsidiary) is a where-to-buy platform for CPG brands that sell through other companies' shops. Its homepage reports 1,500+ CPG brands, 120,000+ retail locations and 100+ eCommerce and grocery delivery retailers, and its real differentiator is data acquisition: it combines web-scraped product data with store-level sales data so a brand does not have to supply the retailer list at all. That is a genuinely different product from ours, and if you need it, buy it — StoreRocket ingests no syndicated retail dataset and has no product/SKU-level search. What StoreRocket does is the other job: you own the location list, you publish it yourself, worldwide, on a plan that starts at $25/mo with a free trial and no sales call. Destini has no public pricing page (destini.co/pricing and /get-started both return 404) and its quote form sizes buyers in store-count bands from "Up to 1,000" upward, with business email required — free email addresses are rejected.

Why Switch

Why Teams Switch From Destini

What you get when you switch to StoreRocket

Transparent, Self-Serve Pricing

Destini publishes no pricing at all — destini.co/pricing and /get-started both 404, and the only route in is a quote form that asks how many stores you have and refuses free email addresses. StoreRocket publishes three plans, $25, $39 and $69 a month (August 2026), and you can start a free trial without talking to anyone.

See how StoreRocket handles this

Live the Same Day, Changed by You

With StoreRocket you sign up, import your locations from CSV, Excel or Google Sheets, paste one embed code, and the locator is live. Every edit after that is yours to make instantly, at 11pm, without filing a request. Destini is bought through a sales process; we have no published figure for how long its onboarding takes, so we will not invent one.

You Own and Can Export Your Data

Destini's strength is that it supplies the retailer data for you — but syndicated feeds are licensed, not owned, and they do not leave with you. With StoreRocket the location list is yours: import it, edit it, add hours, photos and custom fields, pull it back out over the REST API on Business, and take it anywhere.

Worldwide, Not US, Canada and the UK

Destini's own product page puts its retailer coverage in the US, Canada and the UK. StoreRocket has no geographic restriction, and you can customize the locator's language on every plan, with automatic visitor-language detection on Business, so a brand selling across Europe, LATAM or APAC can run one locator everywhere.

FAQ

Destini vs StoreRocket

Common questions about switching from Destini

It depends on who owns the pins. If the locations on your map are your own stores, dealers or stockists and you can supply the list, StoreRocket does that job for $25 to $69 a month with a free trial and no sales call. If you need someone to go and find out which of 120,000+ retail doors currently carry your product, that is Destini's actual product and we do not compete with it. Be honest with yourself about which one you have.
Three things, plainly. First, data acquisition: Destini says it combines web-scraped product data with store-level sales data so it can show results based on actual sales across your distribution footprint — StoreRocket ingests no syndicated retail dataset anywhere. Second, product and SKU-level where-to-buy, including its Signals analytics down to UPC level; StoreRocket has no per-SKU search. Third, the wider enterprise programme around it: shoppable landing pages and recipes, digital coupons, sampling, and 100+ eCommerce and grocery delivery retailer integrations. If any of that is on your requirements list, Destini is the right call.
Destini does not publish a price. Its pricing and get-started URLs return 404, and the only path is a quote form that asks whether you have up to 1,000, 1,001 to 5,000, 5,001 to 15,000 or 15,000+ stores, and rejects Gmail and Yahoo addresses. A vendor-supplied Capterra listing shows $4,950 per feature, per month, with zero reviews on that listing, so treat it as an order of magnitude rather than a quote. StoreRocket's plans are $25, $39 and $69 a month, published on our pricing page (August 2026).
Yes, if you already know your retailer list — most brands do, from their own distributor and sales records. Import it by CSV, Excel or Google Sheets, keep it in sync from a sheet, style the locator to match your brand, and embed it. You get search heatmaps showing where shoppers are actually looking, lead capture on Business, and a REST API on Business. What you are giving up is having someone else discover and maintain that retailer list for you.
No. We do not license or scrape third-party retail data, and we do not show live stock levels. Your locator shows the locations you give us. That is the trade: full control and instant edits, in exchange for doing the data-gathering yourself. Brands that need coverage discovered for them should look at Destini or a similar where-to-buy platform.
It is worth asking them directly. Destini is a SPINS subsidiary, and SPINS acquired MikMak in January 2026; trade press reporting at the time said Destini customers would become MikMak customers. We have no inside knowledge of the timeline, so ask Destini what it means for your account before you sign — and note that migrating away is easier when the location list is yours to begin with.
Yes, with one real caveat. Syndicated location data generally cannot be exported, so you would rebuild the retailer list from your own distributor records, a sales export, or a CSV from another system. Once you have a spreadsheet, StoreRocket's bulk import with smart column mapping handles the rest, and Google Sheets sync keeps it current.
