ZenLocator is a store and product locator for CPG and retail brands, built by Cleverific, Inc. of Santa Barbara. Its published pricing is per app, not per account: Basic $49/mo (2,500 locations, 25 products, five dashboard users, daily syncing), Pro $99 (10,000 locations, 100 products, 10 users, hourly syncing, REST API, branding removal, static page hosting), Premium $249 (20,000 locations, 300 products, 25 users), Enterprise on quote, with roughly 10% off annually. Their help centre is explicit about what a second locator costs: click Create New App and it "will create an additional subscription charge". Plenty of what they build is good, and some of it beats us. They render on OpenStreetMap, Google Maps or Mapbox where we offer two providers, and their OpenStreetMap tiles are the free default, so you can run a locator without a map billing account at all. Their trial is two weeks against our seven days. They publish per-weekday hours in each location's own timezone, location buttons you can configure and import, a product locator carrying 25 to 300 products that we have no equivalent for, five widget types, and analytics with a search heatmap on every plan where ours starts on Pro at $39. Onboarding Help Without A $2,000 Line Item

ZenLocator's concierge service — importing and cleaning your data, uploading product images, finalising your theme and colours — is a $2,000 initial annual fee on Basic and $500 a year after that, and their pricing page sells it only alongside an annual plan. Pro is currently listed at $1,000, and it is included with annual Premium and Enterprise. StoreRocket helps you import, map your columns and get the embed live as part of the subscription.

Yes, by their own documentation. Their help article on adding a locator for a new site walks you through Manage apps, then New app, then Create New App, and states plainly that this "will create an additional subscription charge". Their pricing page prices every tier "per month, per app", and the allowances are listed under that price rather than against your account: 2,500 locations, 25 products and five dashboard users on Basic. Their own FAQ measures map views the same way, as a soft limit "per app per day". So a multi-brand group, or a brand running one locator per region or language, pays the subscription again each time.
Not in the way a hard cap would, whatever their pricing page implies. Their pricing page lists a Google Maps integration for 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 daily map views by tier, but their own FAQ is clearer: "We do not set limits if you're using a 3rd-party maps provider with your own api keys", and on their bundled maps there is a soft limit of 3,000 views per app per day, where crossing it occasionally means, in their words, "nothing happens". StoreRocket puts no view, load or search cap on any plan either. This is not a difference between us, and we would rather say so than sell you one.
The product is. Their dashboard, help centre, developer docs and status page all responded normally in August 2026, the help centre footer is stamped Cleverific, Inc 2026, and their app has a working signup with a two-week trial and no credit card. The marketing site is the part that has aged: the footer still reads © 2021, the newest blog post is from March 2022, and the Sign Up button on every page points at signup.html.gz, which returns a 404. Judge the site and the product separately, because they are not in the same condition.
Yes. ZenLocator exports your locations to CSV, JSON and database formats, and StoreRocket imports CSV, XLS and XLSX, so the data comes across cleanly. Send us the export and we will map your columns, rebuild your filters, hours and location buttons, and hand you the embed code. One note from their side: their help centre says an account still in trial mode cannot export location coordinates, so run the export from a paid account.
